This is a semi-remote role located in the Orlando, Florida area (remote 3 days, on-site 2 days).
Please note, that all interviews will be conducted on-site at our Orlando office.
Responsibilities
- Writing reusable, testable, SEO-friendly and efficient code
- Work within an Agile Development Environment
- Use PHP (Experience with Laravel a plus) and latest web development best practices to create new, and improve current, functionality and features
- Understand and communicate limitations with regard to design and development decisions
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality deliverables in a timely cadence
- Team orientation, but ability to deliver independently with good communication skills
- 1+ years of implementing pixel-perfect mobile-first UI/UX using HTML, CSS, and JS
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Familiar with JS Frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular, etc
- Familiar in PHP MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend, etc
- Expert knowledge of SCSS / SASS
- Strong sense of design integrity
- Experience with responsive web design
- Experience in SOAP and RESTful web services
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Gitlab and Github
- Experience dealing with high traffic environments
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies (CI/CD)
- Able to communicate complex ideas in simple to understand terms
- Strong dislike of Bootstrap, you prefer to write your own HTML as it is much cleaner
- Experience using Block Element Modifier (BEM) CSS naming convention
- Familiarity with Figma design tool
- Understanding of basic SEO HTML practices
- Provide Portfolio link and/or examples of real projects (for clients or ex-employers), no sample projects
