About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer with good understanding of networks, expertise in routing, switching, LAN/WAN, VLAN, BGP, security, and system performance management, experience of ServiceNow, Salse Force, Microsoft Platform, Slack, Nagios monitoring tool etc possessing strong technical support and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability and optimal performance of system and network services.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to maintain the highest levels of availability and reliability.
- Continuously analyze platform behaviour and provide recommendations for system and infrastructure improvements.
- Possess knowledge and experience in Routing and Switching, TCP/IP, PPP, Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, FTP, DHCP, OSPF, VLAN, VTP, BGP, EIGRP, ACL, VoIP, Firewall Configuration, LAN, and WAN.
- Demonstrate expertise in system configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in managing IP addresses and ensuring timely resolution of tickets within established SLAs.
- Skilled in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS management, and troubleshooting associated issues.
- Infrastructure observability, Network monitoring will be added advantage.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date technical documentation.
- Experience with platforms and tools such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft Platform, Slack, and Nagios monitoring.
- Create and oversee the implementation of new internal and external policies.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and participate in technical sessions, coordinate multi-organizational projects, and manage technical implementation or troubleshooting discussions effectively.
- BE/B. Tech/MCA or Master Degree
- Basic knowledge of Network/Servers/ LAN/ WAN/ Wi-Fi.
- Freshers / 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Routing, Switching, Firewall, Networking, Security Monitoring, Internet, etc.
- Certifications: CCNA / CCNP / CCIE (Will be added advantage)
- Experience: Required: 1-2 years.
- Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
