As a Business Engineer, you feel comfortable consulting multiple stakeholders, analysing challenges in the intersection of business processes and IT using quantitative and qualitative methods, recognising improvement opportunities and turning them into concrete value-adding solutions. In addition, you will help our clients’ business stakeholders to drive business value by supporting data-based decision-making with hands-on dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards and business case analyses that you have built yourself (for example, with tools such as MS PowerBI). You will help our clients’ business stakeholders to drive business value by mediating the communication with people in charge of the technical implementation for the required changes.

Key Requirements

• An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Experience in analysing stakeholder needs, process inefficiencies and forming solution proposals
• Experience in forming data-driven insights using analytics platforms and methodologies (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, R, Python, Process mining tools…)
• Experience in Business Process Modelling, Management or Re-engineering
• Willingness and readiness to learn new business technology platforms and tools
• MSc degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Services Management, Computer Science or similar
• Professional-level Finnish and English language proficiency

The following is considered a plus:

• Knowledge of the utilisation and application of Process Mining tools, such as Celonis EMS, Power Platform Process Mining, QPR Process Mining, SAP Signavio or similar
• Knowledge of some of the following methodologies and frameworks: value engineering, Lean Six Sigma, TOGAF, BPMN, or similar
• Previous consulting experience
