The Project Manager (f/m/d) will lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects to further develop the jet engine assembly and test facilities in Dahlewitz (near Berlin). This role requires solid understanding of manufacturing processes, rigorous compliance with safety and quality standards, and the ability to manage stakeholders across operations, engineering, quality and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects in factory planning, new product introduction, capability acquisition and implementation of digital systems (e.g., SAP or MES).
- Deliver from concept to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget.
- Coordination of interdisciplinary teams and interfaces between production, engineering, quality, IT, logistics, and external partners.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in assembly and test processes.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Track project performance using KPIs and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental requirements within assembly and test operations.
- Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business studies, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in project management, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of factory planning, lean production, and digital production systems (e.g., SAP, MES)
- Experience with project management methods and tools
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach
- Communication and leadership skills as well as the ability to work in a team
- Very good German and English skills
