The Role:
Due to continued business growth and expansion into new markets we are seeking a dynamic Brand Manager to join our marketing team. This diverse new role in the Marketing team is central to building and strengthening the Mervue brand portfolio across international markets. You will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, supporting product positioning, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. This diverse role includes both consumer and trade marketing and reports into Mervue’s marketing manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategies for Mervue’s product ranges across pet, equine, and production animal sectors.
- Manage brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency worldwide.
- Plan and deliver marketing campaigns, product launches, trade shows and sponsorship activations.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
- Work closely with commercial leads and international partners to support product communications and market growth.
- Manage digital presence, including website, social media, and online campaigns.
- Work with our in-house designer to design marketing materials and product assets.
- Monitor and report on brand performance, ROI, and campaign effectiveness.
About You:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing and brand management, ideally within the animal health, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sector.
- Hands on, agile person with an entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable managing and working through the project details.
- Strong understanding of international marketing and brand positioning.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organisational skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and commercially.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and brand analytics tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
