Marquee Engineering is looking for a developer to work on a strategic platform for pre-trade analytics for our division. This cutting-edge, flagship pre-trade visualization app will be instrumental for our external clients and internal trading desks across diverse business lines, operating daily.

The ideal candidate would have experience and interest in building a large scale distributed system that is fast, accurate and highly reliable. They should also have commercial experience in JavaScript.This role will additionally involve working with APIs that integrate AI capabilities and contribute to development in Rust.

The successful candidate will join a team of talented developers working on this highly visible and prestigious project. The opportunity will appeal to motivated individuals who want to work directly with the trading desks.

Skills

Basic Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of professional JavaScript development experience
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript
• Familiarity with JS testing tools
• Excellent analytical, debugging and design skills
• Strong knowledge of designing for performance
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in modern web frameworks – React, Redux and RxJS experience a bonus
• Experience of ES2020+
• Experience consuming data via websockets
• Experience in developing data-driven front-ends
