To elevate this vision, we are seeking a Creative Design Manager – eCommerce who can craft immersive, high-performing, and visually magnetic brand experiences across all our digital platforms.
Position Overview
The Creative Design Manager – eCommerce will lead the creative direction, digital design, and visual experience across all Althakeel brands and platforms.
This role demands an exceptional blend of design innovation, storytelling, and technological curiosity — someone who can translate brand essence into powerful digital experiences using UI/UX, 3D, AR/VR, motion, and interactive design.
The ideal candidate lives at the intersection of creativity and commerce — designing not just for beauty, but for performance, engagement, and emotional connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee creative direction, brand design, and digital experience strategy across all Althakeel-owned brands.
- Design visually compelling digital identities — including websites, marketplace storefronts, landing pages, and social campaigns.
- Create immersive UI/UX experiences for eCommerce websites focused on conversion, storytelling, and retention.
- Conceptualize and develop 3D visuals, AR/VR experiences, and product interactions that bring brands to life online.
- Integrate gimmick features, micro-animations, and motion elements that enhance user engagement and brand recall.
- Oversee design consistency across digital ads, email templates, social content, and marketplace creatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and tech teams to ensure a seamless customer journey across digital touchpoints.
- Build and lead a small in-house creative team of designers, motion artists, and 3D specialists.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies, design tools, and global eCommerce trends to maintain a competitive creative edge.
- Partner with developers to ensure flawless execution of design concepts into functional digital assets.
- Maintain brand guidelines and digital asset libraries for all brands under Althakeel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of creative design experience with a strong portfolio in eCommerce, digital branding, and experiential design.
- Proven expertise in UI/UX design, motion graphics, 3D visualization, and immersive digital experiences (AR/VR).
- Hands-on experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Blender, Cinema4D, After Effects, Unreal Engine, or similar.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce user behavior, conversion design principles, and storytelling through interface.
- Experience collaborating with developers on front-end integration (React, Shopify, Webflow, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to translate brand emotion into digital innovation.
