Position Overview

The IT Network and Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining the company’s global network infrastructure, ensuring security, performance and compliance. Based in Dubai, this role will serve as the primary contact for the Middle East region, working closely with the Central Security Department and supporting both local and international IT initiatives. The position combines advanced technical expertise with infrastructure management experience to ensure the delivery of reliable and secure IT services across the Group.


Key Responsibilities

Technical

  • Deploy, monitor and optimize network infrastructure across the Group.
  • Maintain operational conditions of all network systems in coordination with HQ (Paris).
  • Ensure compliance with the Group Information Security Policy across the Middle East.
  • Respond to security alerts and provide Level 2–3 support for network incidents.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for HQ handover.
  • Design and evaluate international network architecture changes/evolutions.
  • Ensure technical consistency, quality and security of all project deliverables.
  • Lead/manage new IT infrastructure projects and not just maintenance.
  • Oversee and implement new IT infrastructure projects, leading the IT workstream for both Network and System functions.
  • Document and oversee implementation of new network projects.

Regional & Local Support

  • Act as the main IT contact for the Middle East region.
  • This role involves travel across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.
  • Collaborate with local IT Managers to ensure regional compliance with security policies.
  • Support Dubai HQ IT-related tasks, including Helpdesk when required.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi (Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki).
  • Internet technologies: DNS, SSH, FTP, DHCP, HTTP, NTP.
  • Security infrastructure: Next-Gen Firewalls, VPNs, Proxies, IDS/IPS, WAF (Fortinet, Forcepoint).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, Azure cloud and Active Directory.
  • Scripting with PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of cloud security (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP).
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and analytical ability.
  • Ability to manage and resolve complex incidents.
  • Experience in project and resource management.
  • Proactive, client-focused, adaptable and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience

  • 6–10 years in networking & systems administration roles.
  • Proven experience in multinational or regional environments preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Networking or Telecommunications.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
