This position will be 100% based in office, no remote work.


Position Summary

The Manufacturing Project Manager drives operational projects that sustain and improve IEM’s manufacturing operations. The role ensures stability of existing production lines while leading structured continuous improvement and change implementation activities. Focused on the long-term success of a major customer product line, this position coordinates across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering to implement product and process changes effectively and deliver measurable performance improvements.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee operational projects that sustain existing LEAN production lines and drive step-change improvements.
  • Lead structured continuous improvement initiatives targeting cycle time, quality, throughput, and safety.
  • Manage change implementation across supply chain and manufacturing with minimal disruption to production.
  • Establish, track, and report operational KPIs for LEAN lines, providing clear visibility to leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to embed improvements into standard work and daily management.
  • Identify risks to ongoing production performance and implement mitigation plans to protect output.
  • Drive adoption of standard work and ensure improvements are documented and controlled.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in project management or operations improvement, preferably in high-volume or mass manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success sustaining LEAN operations and leading change management initiatives.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MES and project management tools; strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities; proven ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related certification a plus.


Workplace Conditions

· On-site role with cross-functional engagement across engineering, operations, and program teams.

· Limited travel may be required to support program and leadership meetings
