The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Product Strategy Manager – SaaS Marketplace / Merchant Solutions to lead the strategy, development, and growth of our open value-added ecosystem. This is a unique chance to join us at an early stage, take full ownership of the product, and drive its success from conception to launch and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the product strategy, ideation and roadmap for the SaaS marketplace, with a focus on merchant-centric solutions
- Deeply understand merchant needs, workflows, and pain points - particularly around POS and related operational tools
- Identify and evaluate new partner integrations (e.g., accounting, POS, inventory management) to expand marketplace offerings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, sales, operations, marketing, partners) and external partners/vendors to deliver a high-impact merchant solutions and services
- Set key metrics and drive product performance, analyse market trends, collect user feedback, and iterate to optimise product-market fit.
- Act as the subject matter expert on merchant operations, ensuring the marketplace supports real-world workflows from the counter to the back office
- Build strong relationships with external partners to support onboarding and ongoing marketplace success
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in product strategy, product management, or marketplace experience - within SaaS, F&B tech, retail tech or Fintech
- Deep understanding of merchant operations from frontline to back office; or hands-on experience with POS systems or SaaS products
- Proven track record of shipping merchant-facing products or services with measurable business impact.
- Ability to manage relationships with vendors and partners
- Demonstrated experience managing product P&L, setting KPIs, and driving financial performance
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to market adoption and growth
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive, self-starter attitude
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Economics, or related); MBA or advanced degree is a plus
