We’re looking for a Tech Lead to join our growing Engineering team!

About The Role

As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal hands-on role in building a high-performance, resilient platform focused on DeFi applications. You’ll lead a cross-functional development team, enhancing our capabilities to support decentralized finance, secure transactions, and seamless integration with new blockchain ecosystems. This role offers an exciting chance to drive architectural decisions and influence our tech stack as we shape the future of DeFi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability backend features for a scalable DeFi platform
  • Integrate existing systems with new blockchain technologies to enhance our ecosystem
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and research new technologies to keep the platform cutting-edge
  • Develop and maintain highly scalable, high-volume services with a focus on security and data integrity
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices
  • Design and optimize database schemas to support high-transactional workloads
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Track project progress using project management tools, managing priorities and deadlines effectively

Our Ideal Profile:

  • Experienced hands on developer with backend experience in Web3.
  • Tech Stack: TypeScript with MongoDB or Golang as a bonus.

About You

  • 6+ years of experience in backend development, with previous exposure to event-based architectures
  • Expertise in Web3 and a deep understanding of blockchain concepts, with experience in at least one blockchain ecosystem
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript (Node.js); experience integrating with Fireblocks is a plus but not essential
  • Familiar with EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) and able to work with smart contracts and decentralized technologies would be a plus
  • Passionate about blockchain and cryptocurrencies, staying up-to-date with the latest trends in decentralized technology
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset that fosters teamwork
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is an advantage
