Your Responsibilities
As a Program Officer you will:
- Providing advice and support to managers and administration staff on human resource, financial and administrative processes including development and oversight of administrative systems.
- Demonstrate adaptability and initiative in addressing emerging issue.
- Preparing and maintaining a variety or documentation (reports, correspondence, agreements spreadsheets) on a diverse range of issues.
- Being familiar with relevant Acts, Regulations and Departmental delegations, policies and procedures.
- Supervising administrative staff and monitoring the work flow of an administrative team and participate in staff training, appraisal and development, where appropriate.
- Liaising with management, departmental officers and government and non government agencies to participate in the coordination of service delivery and facilitate information exchange.
- Enhancing the local community by actively practicing and promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identifying opportunities for improving participant service.
- Recognise and contribute to the strategic projects tasked to the NDIS Portfolio Performance and Stakeholder Management Unit.
