About The Role

A leading international financial innovation centre, operating in collaboration with several Nordic central banks, is seeking a Project Portfolio Assistant to support its multidisciplinary team. The centre focuses on cutting-edge projects in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Financial Crime Prevention, and the Future of Money and Payments. Two new projects are expected to launch in the coming year, likely centered around AI and financial stability.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives that shape the future of finance. You will work closely with project managers and report to the Centre Head, supporting multiple workstreams and collaborating with global teams across other innovation hubs.

Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and monitor governance requirements across the project portfolio
  • Provide administrative and governance support to project managers
  • Schedule and manage meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in procurement processes and ensure compliance with internal policies
  • Track project expenditures and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure tools, software, and project documentation are accessible and up to date
  • Support logistics for workshops and events
  • Facilitate communication with technology providers, central bank experts, and external partners
  • Contribute to the smooth operation and outreach of the centre


Required Qualifications & Skills


  • Proven experience in project management support and budget tracking
  • Familiarity with technical projects and risk management
  • Experience with procurement and vendor coordination
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, multicultural environments and with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish (written and oral)
  • High proficiency in MS Office tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent professional experience


Desirable Qualifications


  • Experience working in international and multicultural settings
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Azure DevOps or MS Planner
  • Exposure to projects involving AI, fintech, or agile methodologies

This is a one-year consultant assignment via Adecco starting immediately or as agreed. For the right candidate, the assignment may be extended. Offices are located in central Stockholm.
