Overview:

Join our team as a Senior PHP Developer. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our IT technology team. We are building an internal ERP system from scratch, using PHP. This would be for internal users, but web-based for easy access.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain ERP software solutions to optimize internal processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify user needs and propose innovative solutions, including creating custom dashboards and adding fields to the ERP software.
  • Oversee ERP software upgrades.
  • Stay updated on new ERP capabilities and features.
  • Generate data analytics reports and respond to data-related requests to support business operations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to provide strategic input on technology improvements.
  • Serve as a key resource for other team members, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.

Key Technical Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP programming—ideally for internal applications like an ERP, not customer-facing website development.
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain backend logic and integrations for internal systems, ensuring smooth operation of internal processes and user interfaces.
  • Experience with manufacturing ERP software and PHP in an enterprise environment.
  • Web development experience (e.g., front-end website design) is not applicable to this role, as the focus is on internal systems and ERP customization.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a developer role.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex projects and large data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders across different departments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience working in a collaborative team environment and contributing to the success of the team.
