BigData Engineer Intern Kyiv

Responsibilities

• Learning under the supervision of an experienced programmer
• Spend 40 hours per week for 6 months on developing yourself in your chosen field
• Working closely with your mentor on daily tasks
  
  

Requirements

• Java/Scala/Python background
• Knowledge of algorithms and Data Structures basics
• SQL/RDS basics (syntax, normalization principles, etc.)
• Understanding of code quality principles (unit, functional, integration, performance testing)
• English: ability to work with technical documentation
• Education: computer/data science, mathematics or other technical departments are highly preferable
  
  

Nice to have

• Problem-solving skills
• Communication and other soft skills
• Practical experience with version of control (e.g. GIT)
• Hands-on experience with Big Data frameworks/libraries (Pandas, Spark etc.)
