✨The Opportunity

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Avertro, you’ll build secure, scalable features across our modern platform. You’ll collaborate closely with our cross-functional team and cybersecurity experts to turn big ideas into polished user experiences. This is a chance to influence not just how we build, but what we build, and grow as a technical leader as we scale. You’ll join us at a critical growth stage, where our platform is live with enterprise customers and focusing on scaling our front-end architecture, enhancing performance, and rapidly delivering new features using React, MUI and Node.js.

🧩What You’ll Do

• Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalability, security, and resilience as we grow our customer base.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to developing technical leadership within the team.
• Collaborate with leadership on long-term technology roadmap and ensure technical priorities align with business objectives and customer needs.
• Build, improve and maintain user-facing and backend features with React, Node.js, GraphQL, Material UI, JS, and CSS.
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications for elegant, secure, and scalable solutions.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deploy software solutions.
• Participate in agile software development process including sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Write clean and efficient code that is easy to maintain and scale, and help uphold engineering best practices through thoughtful code reviews.
• Contribute to the evolution of our platform as we tackle new challenges.

🔍 What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale SaaS applications, including multi-tenant architectures, high availability, and robust security controls.
• Proven track record of implementing scalable cloud-native infrastructure (AWS preferred), including monitoring, observability, cost optimization, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software design and integration patterns (APIs, SSO, identity management, RBAC) to meet customer and security requirements.
• Experience leading technical architecture decisions in scaling environments, including performance tuning, data modeling for scale, and high-volume transaction processing.
• Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term technical strategy.
• Proven experience with React, Node.js, GraphQL, Material UI, JS, and CSS.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering and non-technical teams.
• Familiarity with agile development, CI/CD, and version control (e.g. Git).
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable code and continuously improving how we build.
• A sharp eye for detail and a methodical, solutions-oriented mindset.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
• AWS DevOps experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in Software Engineering.

 Bonus Points

• Understanding of secure coding practices and application architecture.
• Experience building security into software from the ground up.
• Background in cybersecurity or experience in regulated industries.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Previous experience in a startup or scaling product environment.
