JDL Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a fast growing DC Developer who are looking for a Customer Fit-out Project Manager to join their team in Mainz, Germany.
This opportunity is available on a local contract, offering a basic salary, bonus and car.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all customer/end-user works, including office spaces, security systems, telecoms, and other client-specific infrastructure.
- Liaise closely with the customer, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration with the base build and MEP systems.
- Track and report on progress, ensuring alignment with project milestones. Support commissioning and handover activities for customer scope.
- Oversee the end user installation and integration fully
- Act as the main point of contact for all customer fit-out-related queries.
- Provide clear, timely communication to the Senior Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (Design, Operations, IT/Telecom, Security) to ensure customer works are prioritised and delivered smoothly.
- Programme & Cost Control Maintain programme for customer works, highlighting any risks to delivery dates.
- Monitor and control costs for customer fit-out scope, escalating issues early.
- Support preparation of cost forecasts and progress reports.
- Ensure customer works are coordinated with general contractor and trades. Facilitate design reviews, approvals, and change management processes for customer scope.
- Track dependencies and interface points between customer works and base build.
Requirements
- Experience delivering customer fit-out, telecom, security, or office build-out works within a construction project.
- Familiarity with programme management and cost control processes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Good working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and Word. Proactive, organised, and able to escalate issues appropriately.
