Role Description

This is a part time remote role for a freelance Mobile Software Developer and Tech Team Coordinator (2/3 days per week, flexible) at VIOLA. This role includes both hands-on app development and team coordination, and will need to personally deploy to production weekly updates to ios, android, backend, and coordinate and manage the dev team. This roles also includes coordination between the business and tech teams.

This job is an opportunity to work on impactful projects with a small, agile team. It’s a role with both responsibility and autonomy: you’ll shape the dev process while remaining actively involved in coding.

The Development Coordinator will be responsible for deploying code to production, publishing app updates, managing git branches and code reviews for the repos, and do hands on coding work in Flutter/Dart and JavaScript/TypeScript. They will also need to administrate the Google/Firebase backend, and do backend debugging in production. They will plan sprints and assign tasks to developers, meeting weekly with them. They will report to the business team and other stakeholders on development progress and ensure smooth communication between business and tech teams.

Qualifications.

- Italian and English language proficiency required

- Knowledge of Flutter / Dart Mobile App development is required

- Knowledge of Firebase and Google stack backend development is required

- Experience deploying apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store is required

- Knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript is required

- At least one iOS and one Android device (emulators not allowed)

- Knowledge of Swift and Kotlin is preferred

- Ability to manage other developers, plan sprints, assign and troubleshoot tasks

- Ability to do code reviews and manage git repositories

- Ability to manage App releases and administrate production backend in Google stack

- Ability to coordinate with tech team and business stakeholders

- Knowledge of bug tracking tools and software testing methodologies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and remotely

Descrizione del Ruolo

Si tratta di un ruolo part-time e da remoto per uno sviluppatore mobile software freelance e coordinatore del tech team (2/3 giorni a settimana, con orari flessibili) presso VIOLA. La posizione prevede sia attività di sviluppo operativo sull’app, sia coordinamento del team, con la responsabilità di effettuare personalmente il deployment settimanale in produzione per iOS, Android e backend, oltre a gestire e coordinare il team di sviluppo. Il ruolo include anche il coordinamento tra team business e team tech.

Questo ruolo è un’opportunità per lavorare su progetti ad alto impatto con un team piccolo e agile. Offre sia responsabilità che autonomia: sarai parte attiva nello sviluppo e allo stesso tempo contribuirai a definire il processo di sviluppo.

Il Development Coordinator sarà responsabile del deployment del codice in produzione, della pubblicazione degli aggiornamenti dell’app, della gestione dei branch Git e delle code review per i repos, oltre allo sviluppo diretto in Flutter/Dart e JavaScript/TypeScript.

Dovrà inoltre amministrare il backend Google/Firebase ed effettuare attività di debugging in produzione. Pianificherà gli sprint, assegnerà i task agli sviluppatori e si incontrerà settimanalmente con loro. Riporterà al team business e agli altri stakeholder sui progressi dello sviluppo, garantendo una comunicazione fluida tra area tecnica e area business.

Requisiti

-     È richiesta conoscenza dello sviluppo Mobile App in Flutter / Dart

-     È richiesta conoscenza dello sviluppo backend con Firebase e Google stack

-     È necessaria esperienza nel deploy di app su Google Play Store e Apple App Store

-     È richiesta conoscenza di JavaScript / TypeScript

-     È obbligatorio possedere almeno un dispositivo iOS e uno Android (non sono ammessi emulatori)

-     La conoscenza di Swift e Kotlin è preferibile

-     Capacità di gestire altri sviluppatori, pianificare sprint, assegnare task e risolvere problemi

-     Capacità di effettuare code review e gestire repository Git

-     Capacità di gestire release dell’app e amministrare il backend in produzione su Google stack

-     Capacità di coordinarsi con il team tecnico e gli stakeholder di business

-     Conoscenza di strumenti di bug tracking e metodologie di software testing

-     Spiccate capacità analitiche e di problem solving

-     Ottima attenzione ai dettagli

Compenso
