We are recruiting for our client, an exciting opportunity for a seasoned and motivated Cybersecurity Manager to join a dynamic and fast-growing team.
In this role, you'll be tackling exciting and challenging security projects across various industries while mentoring and guiding junior team members.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cyber Security Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that may include:
- Leading and executing cybersecurity engagements such as penetration tests (web, infrastructure, and applications), phishing simulations, and red/purple team exercises.
- Conducting manual and automated security testing to uncover vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
- Performing cloud security infrastructure reviews to ensure compliance and safety.
- Advising clients on a wide range of technical and non-technical security issues.
- Delivering security improvement solutions in areas like vulnerability management, security monitoring (SIEM), and system hardening.
This is a highly dynamic role where no two days will be the same. You’ll work alongside ambitious and skilled team members to solve pressing security challenges for our clients, often in a high-stakes environment. Projects may vary in scope and duration—from several days to multiple months—offering unparalleled exposure to a variety of industries.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate with:
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in areas like security consulting, ethical hacking, penetration testing, and/or cybersecurity assessments.
- A strong technical toolbox, including professional accreditations such as OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, or equivalent certifications.
- A solid STEM educational background such as a Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, MITRE, ISO 27001, or PCI-DSS.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Fluency in English is essential—fluency in Dutch is a significant plus (or a willingness to learn).
Bonus points if you bring experience with risk, compliance, IT audits, or business development activities like proposal writing.
