The high-tech company Instrumentation Technologies, which develops the most advanced measurement and control instruments for both scientists and industry, is inviting a Customer Support Engineer to join their team.
Customer support is of key importance to Instrumentation Technologies. In this role, you will support existing and potential new users with their projects research nuclear reactor facilities, fusion machines and particle accelerators around the world and help them operate the instruments.
You will have the opportunity to travel globally, participating to international conferences and workshops, and measurements at the customer facilities. You will explore different environments and cultures, and take part in major scientific projects aimed at answering some of the key questions of our time, enabling significant scientific breakthroughs, producing medical isotopes, or supporting cancer treatment through proton therapy.

Main responsibilities will include:
- Understanding customer applications and needs, and identifying solutions the company can offer,
- Visiting customers: explaining, presenting, and training existing and potential new users on Libera instruments as well as performing demonstration and validation measurements,
- Providing customer support both remotely and on-site,
- Gathering ideas and requirements for new products or suggesting improvements to existing products,
- Participating in international conferences and building relationships with customers at particle accelerators in America, Asia, Europe, and Australia.
We expect candidates to have:
- A completed Level VI or higher degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field,
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent English proficiency (spoken and written),
- The ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical topics,
- Willingness and enthusiasm to travel to various locations worldwide, with openness and interest in other cultures, places, and customs,
- Familiarity with analog and digital signal processing, A/D conversion, and Linux embedded systems is an advantage.
