🚀 About the Role

We’re hiring an Expert Python Software Engineer (AI Team) to develop AI/ML orchestration services for Mercedes-Benz’s Azure-based data platform. You’ll build robust, scalable, and testable backend systems integrating with Azure ML, OpenAI, and AI Search.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

• Develop APIs (FastAPI) for ML model training, deployment, and inference.
• Integrate with Azure ML SDK, OpenAI, and AI Search APIs.
• Deploy and automate infrastructure using Pulumi (Python).
• Build test automation frameworks and ensure performance optimisation.
• Support Document Intelligence (OCR/NLP) workloads and integration pipelines.

🧠 Technical Expertise Required

• Languages: Python (FastAPI, PyTest, asyncio, ML SDKs)
• Cloud: Azure ML, OpenAI, AI Search, Blob Storage
• IaC: Pulumi (Python)
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions
• Testing/Monitoring: PyTest, MLflow, App Insights

💼 What You Bring

• 5+ years Python development (AI/ML context preferred).
• Experience integrating AI/ML services in Azure environments.
• Strong background in IaC and CI/CD implementation.
