Oxford’s strategic client, a global leader in electrification and sustainable energy, is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformative infrastructure projects within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Role Overview
The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end infrastructure projects including:
- Network upgrades
- Data center migrations
- Cloud initiatives
- Security enhancements
The successful candidate will manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation while ensuring all initiatives are aligned with IT governance and business objectives. They will act as the primary liaison between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, driving delivery while managing risks, issues, and escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Work with technical teams to develop solution proposals and secure requirements.
- Create, maintain, and manage project plans and budgets.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Monitor progress, oversee governance, and provide regular reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Communicate status updates clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and changes.
Key Interfaces
- Internal: IT Leadership, Product Groups, BST, PMO, Finance
- External: Vendors, Consultants, Contractors
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in formal IT project management roles.
- Proven track record delivering infrastructure projects within complex, matrixed enterprise environments.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of Waterfall project management methodologies, with the ability to apply Agile approaches when appropriate.
- Demonstrated experience in change management and infrastructure deliver
