We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team and help us build solid products. The design and development of scalable, reliable backend services and their maintenance require the fine craftsmanship of skillful backend engineers. They are pillar stones of our company; they give life to and nourish our highly anticipated and highly acclaimed product. As the old adage goes: “The Backend giveth and the Backend taketh away”

About The Position
Must-Have
- Strong engineering skills and programming fundamentals
- Have +2 years of software development experience
- Experienced with Python and web development related framework and libraries (e.g. Django, FastAPI, Flask, SQLAlchemy)
- Experienced in Relational DBMS like MySQL
- Experienced in API design and development
- Experienced with Git version control system
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experienced with unit testing, integration testing
- Proficient in concurrency concepts and async programming
- Capacity to learn quickly about new systems and techniques
- Strong collaboration skills, system thinking, and ability to clearly explain complex concepts
- Self-motivated and self-managing with strong organizational skills.
- Strong English language communication skills
- Experienced with one or more programming languages like Go, Java etc.
- Experience working with cloud services particularly AWS
- Understanding of infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Experienced with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Experienced with Big Data frameworks like Spark and etc.
- Experienced with Model Context Protocol development or similar AI integration protocols
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, maintainable backend services
- Stand up for improvements to software quality, security, and performance. Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Champion testing, reusability, and readability within the development team
- Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architectures
