The Job Details
We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer who will be part of a high-performance team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our multi-cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure and AWS. This role is central to our software configuration processes, continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will manage, document, and enhance our software products, oversee timely software releases, and ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments.
What you’ll do as a Senior DevOps Engineer
- Design, build, and maintain our scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on both AWS and Azure.
- Develop and support robust CI/CD and MLOps pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement and manage cloud-native solutions using services like Kubernetes (AKS, EKS), serverless functions (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda), and managed databases.
- Manage cloud security, networking, and identity and access management (IAM) best practices.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization to manage costs effectively.
- Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure to improve development and release processes.
- Maintain the code repository, manage the build process, and enforce code versioning policies.
- Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats by implementing and maintaining security best practices.
- Identify and resolve technical problems, developing software updates and fixes.
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure development follows established processes and works as intended.
- Participate in project planning and management decisions, providing periodic progress reports to management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
- Extensive, hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, demonstrating strong proficiency in both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Deep expertise in core cloud services, including:
- Azure: AKS, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, VNet, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Monitor, and Azure DevOps.
- AWS: EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Proven experience with DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), continuous integration, and automated deployment.
- Strong experience with IaC frameworks such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab CI and MLOps tool like MLFlow, KubeFlow, SageMaker.
- In-depth experience with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS, EKS).
- Experience with monitoring and observability systems such as New Relic, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, or Grafana.
- Proficiency with Git and modern git workflows.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A strong desire to learn and explore new technologies.
- Fluent in English.

We are working in a full remote model. We have physical offices in İstanbul(Ataşehir Nidakule Kolektif House) where team members can get together and work collaboratively on a volunteer basis.
