Role Overview:

We are seeking a versatile MERN Stack Developer Intern who will not only build robust web applications but also actively contribute to business growth by drafting proposals on freelancing platforms like Upwork. This role bridges development, collaboration, and business acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Collaborate closely with the AI and Data Science teams to integrate machine learning models and analytics into applications.
• Draft and submit high-quality project proposals on freelancing platforms to secure development and AI projects.
• Participate in ideation, planning, and execution of internal tech products for CatalystIQ.
• Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code aligned with company standards.
• Research emerging technologies to improve performance and scalability.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing and design teams for front-end and UX enhancements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with the MERN stack and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and database design.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and ability to work with Data Science teams.
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting proposals and documentation.
• Experience with freelancing or business acquisition platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, etc.) is a plus.
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, or GraphQL.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Basic understanding of data visualisation or AI API integrations (OpenAI, TensorFlow.js, etc.).
