About the Role

A leading distributor of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastics), GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete), Laminated Glass solutions, and Construction Chemicals is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive business growth across the UAE and wider GCC. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in composite materials with proven sales leadership, building strong client relationships and ensuring products are specified in high-profile projects across construction, marine, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales activities for core product portfolio: GRP, GRC, Laminated Glass, and Construction Chemicals (admixtures, sealants, bonding agents, epoxy flooring).
  • Develop sales strategies to increase market penetration in construction, infrastructure, marine, and industrial projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, and developers, ensuring products are included in project specifications and approvals.
  • Provide technical presentations, submittals, and product demonstrations to decision-makers and project stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: generating enquiries, preparing quotations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Coordinate closely with internal operations, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitor activities, customer trends, and market shifts to proactively adjust strategies.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Business; MBA preferred.
  • 7–10 years of experience in technical sales of composites, glass, or construction chemicals.
  • Proven success in specification selling and managing relationships with consultants and contractors in the UAE/GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of GRP, GRC, glass lamination processes, and construction chemical applications.
  • Excellent communication, technical presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead sales teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • UAE driving license is mandatory.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
