Role Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as an internal consultant to provide and enable HR support to the business. In addition, the HRBP formulates partnerships across all levels to deliver value added services that reflects on the Organization strategy and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Associate Director – Talent Development and Management in developing and maintaining the process and procedures.
- Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with different HR functions/team members to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Identify and implement positive employee relations programs, in consultation with the Associate Director, that will lead to a more efficient and productive workforce.
- Promote open communication with employees to be able to gather information on employee outlook on work environment and factors affecting morale, motivation and efficiency.
- Evaluate and resolve work-related issues and coordinate with the Associate Director in determining appropriate action.
- Respond to employee relation inquiries.
- Support in developing and reviewing the reward scheme and plan in alignment with the overall reward strategy and plan and the other talent activities such as performance management and employee engagement.
- Facilitate employees recognition and reward in alignment with the organization’s reward scheme.
- Promote the culture of performance and continuous feedback and coaching in all business units.
- Manage the execution of performance management process for all employees
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management; such as counselling, career development, disciplinary actions.
- Conduct probationary reviews on the third and the sixth month of employment.
- Liaise with the Line Managers in regards to the confirmation of the employees and issue the Confirmation Letters accordingly.
- Respond to performance management related inquiries
- Support process design and approaches that support change and transformation within the business.
- Be an ambassador for the HR department and represent the HR internally and externally when appropriate.
- Communicate and provide interpretation and guidance to HR policies and explains HR processes and procedures
- Analyses trend and metrics in partnership with other HR functions to develop solutions, initiatives and programs.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Keep up to date with external trends and best practice in the areas of expertise and HR more broadly
- Provide HR reports on trends and issues to the HR management
- Perform other duties as and when needed depending on business requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or other relevant fields, CIPD certification preferred
- 6-8 total years of relevant HR experience; minimum 2 years of operating in business partner model
- Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, employment laws, policies and procedures, recruitment, compensation and benefits, and career development
- Knowledge of current thinking and trends in HR
