Full Stack Laravel Engineer (Remote)

We’re looking for a Full Stack Laravel Engineer with 4–5 years of professional experience and a strong frontend focus. You’ll help us design, build, and scale modern web applications using Laravel, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS, with seamless Stripe integrations for payments.

You’ll be expected to take ownership of features end-to-end, work closely with product/design, and contribute to architectural decisions that shape the direction of our platform. This is a role for someone who’s comfortable working independently in a remote team, while delivering polished, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

What you’ll do

• Build responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces with Vue.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop and maintain backend features with Laravel (Eloquent ORM, Queues, Events, Jobs).
• Design and implement secure Stripe payment flows (Subscriptions, Checkout, Connect).
• Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver pixel-perfect UIs from Figma.
• Optimize application performance across frontend and backend.
• Lead feature development end-to-end: scoping, implementation, testing, deployment.
• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
• Proactively identify improvements in architecture, tooling, and developer experience.

What we’re looking for

• 4–5 years of professional experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Deep knowledge of Laravel (Eloquent, service containers, events, queues, caching).
• Strong experience with Vue.js (Composition API, Vuex/Pinia, component-driven architecture).
• Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and modern build tooling (Vite, npm/yarn, ES modules).
• Demonstrated experience integrating and maintaining Stripe payments.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization (Sanctum/Passport, JWT).
• Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in remote teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Inertia.js or Livewire.
• Automated testing experience (PHPUnit, Pest, Cypress, Jest).
• Knowledge of Laravel deployment environments (Vapor, Forge, Docker, AWS).
• Background in SaaS application development.
