HR Coordinator

9 Month Contract- Maternity Leave Contract

North York- ONSITE

Pay range: 20+ hourly


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests, providing timely and effective assistance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including drafting and posting job advertisements, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and preparing employment agreements.
  • Facilitate benefit enrollment and provide general information on available programs.
  • Set up payroll for new hires and process address updates.
  • Provide guidance and support to new and existing team members.
  • Complete onboarding processes and update records for new employees.
  • Participate in monitoring and evaluating workplace health and safety action plans and policies.
  • Assist with health and safety initiatives, ensuring alignment with evolving industry standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, processing payroll change forms, handling payroll inquiries, benefits administration, and vacation tracking.
  • Coordinate the performance review process for front-line employees, submit documentation to payroll, and maintain the Employee Performance Matrix.
  • Support other HR functions and participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.


Qualifications & Assets:

  • Preferred experience with Dayforce HRIS system.
  • Ability to communicate in French is a strong asset.
