HR Coordinator
9 Month Contract- Maternity Leave Contract
North York- ONSITE
Pay range: 20+ hourly
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests, providing timely and effective assistance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including drafting and posting job advertisements, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and preparing employment agreements.
- Facilitate benefit enrollment and provide general information on available programs.
- Set up payroll for new hires and process address updates.
- Provide guidance and support to new and existing team members.
- Complete onboarding processes and update records for new employees.
- Participate in monitoring and evaluating workplace health and safety action plans and policies.
- Assist with health and safety initiatives, ensuring alignment with evolving industry standards.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, processing payroll change forms, handling payroll inquiries, benefits administration, and vacation tracking.
- Coordinate the performance review process for front-line employees, submit documentation to payroll, and maintain the Employee Performance Matrix.
- Support other HR functions and participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications & Assets:
- Preferred experience with Dayforce HRIS system.
- Ability to communicate in French is a strong asset.
