We are looking for a Linux Kernel / C Software Engineer to join a leading technology company building next-generation networking, storage, and security solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-performance SoCs, driving innovation in embedded software and system integration. You will be involved across the full software development lifecycle on Linux-based platforms, contributing to both architecture and hands-on development.
What You’ll Work On
- Designing and developing Board Support Packages (BSPs) for cutting-edge SoCs
- Linux kernel and driver development for networking and connectivity technologies (Ethernet, DSL, PON, WiFi, Routers, Home Gateways)
- Firmware development on RTOS for microcontrollers
- Hardware/software co-verification and pre/post-silicon validation
- System bring-up, integration, and performance optimization
- Creating and maintaining APIs, features, and technical documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or similar (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD)
- Strong skills in C programming, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with Linux kernel/driver architecture and development
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl)
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN, Mercurial)
- Background in embedded security features is a plus
- Experience with processors such as ARC or Intel Atom is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving ability and system-level thinking
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
