We are seeking a skilled Project Manager for one of our key clients in the energy sector specializing in transformer services. Our projects span a wide range of complexities, from straightforward service tasks to more complex assignments.

As a Project Manager, you will often oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage Project Lifecycle: Lead both basic and complex projects from handover by the sales team, ensuring alignment with contracts and execution plans.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, keeping projects on track and within scope.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Quality and Safety Oversight: Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and quality standards, following Hitachi Energy’s guidelines and best practices.
  • Full Project Responsibility: Oversee every aspect of the project, including health and safety, quality control, financial management, and timely delivery.
  • Multitask Effectively: Lead and manage several service projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient coordination and execution.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of local project management processes, enhancing team efficiency and performance.


Your Background:

  • Education: Relevant university degree or higher education.
  • Certification in project management is a plus. Engineering Knowledge: A Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is advantageous.
  • Experience: Prior experience in service work, project management, or sales within the energy sector.
  • IT Skills: Strong proficiency with project management tools and IT systems.
  • Languages: Fluency in Norwegian (written and spoken) is required; English proficiency is also essential.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
  • Motivation: A highly engaged individual with a passion for delivering high-quality results.
