We are seeking a Senior Golang Developer to contribute to the design and development of a microservice solution focused on oil well data collection and analysis.

This role involves optimizing system architecture and ensuring efficient data management. You will work closely with a distributed team to build reliable and high-performing services. Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize system architecture and individual components
• Create and enhance services for data collection, processing, storage, and export
• Develop and maintain APIs for internal and external system interactions
• Design and optimize database structures and write efficient queries for PostgreSQL
• Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance through sound design and implementation
• Support and troubleshoot system issues while contributing to continuous improvements
• Document workflows and architectural decisions related to APIs
• Collaborate effectively with a distributed team
• Learn and adopt new tools, languages, and frameworks as necessary
• Mentor junior developers and manage projects independently

Requirements

• Professional experience of over 5 years in software development with at least 3 years focused on Go language
• Deep understanding of microservices design and architecture principles
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL query optimization
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure DevOps
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Ability to work independently and in a team, mentoring junior colleagues
• English proficiency at a professional working level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of communication protocols such as gRPC and REST APIs
• Experience with RabbitMQ message broker
• Familiarity with data storage technologies including Elasticsearch, Snowflake, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Understanding of log storage techniques using Fluentd and Elasticsearch
• Experience with additional programming languages such as Python and JavaScript
