POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Senior Android Developer is responsible for development, implementation and validation of native code using both Android platform in conjunction with custom hardware devices and mobile applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Architect and maintain native Android application using a modern tech stack
Assign tasks to junior and mid-level Android developers based on skillset, workload, and project priorities
Perform regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization
Provide constructive feedback to help team members grow technically
Ensure consistency and maintainability across the codebase
Validate that completed features meet the intended use cases and quality benchmarks before deployment
Continuously research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to improve development efficiency

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of proven experience in a similar mobile development role
Strong experience building mobile app architectures from scratch
Proficiency in Kotlin
Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and Jetpack Compose
Solid experience working with Bluetooth Low Energy
Experience with REST APIs and local data storage (e.g., SQLite, Room, Core Data, Preferences)
Proficiency with Git and version control best practices
Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
