Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on a project focused on building automated testing infrastructure for ATM (a networking/security software system). The project involves analyzing ATM's source code and design for correctness and performance, creating multiple testing environments (Kubernetes, bare-metal, KCS), developing performance and correctness test suites, and implementing CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and qualification of new releases.

Responsibilities

• Work on advanced networking and security software leveraging modern protocols (IPv6, routing, NAT).
• Design and implement automated testing infrastructure from scratch using state-of-the-art tools and best practices.
• Contribute to development across diverse technologies, including Python
• Drive automation initiatives with a strong focus on CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Perform performance analysis and ensure statistical confidence in test results.
• Conduct cross-platform testing across Kubernetes, bare-metal, and cloud-based environments.
• Gain full SDLC experience, including analysis, testing, automation, and qualification of new releases.
• Utilize modern tools such as Rio for pipelines, pytest, scapy, and internal performance evaluation frameworks.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience with network security concepts and protocols
• Knowledge of Python
• Familiarity with Wireshark for network analysis
• Knowledge of statistical analysis for performance testing
• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms
• Understanding of CI/CD best practices and pipeline optimization
• Experience with cross-platform development and testing
• Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization techniques
• Readiness for evening’s calls (till 21:00 Kyiv time)
