Responsibilities

• Identify and design Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning opportunities with EPAM teams and clients
• Guide cross-functional EPAM or client teams to understand business challenges and develop AI-driven solutions
• Collaborate with clients to deliver AI products that create tangible value for users
• Advance EPAM’s competencies by developing new AI, Data Science, and ML offerings and enhancing existing solutions
• Apply innovative engineering approaches to create practical Machine Learning applications
• Coordinate with the DevOps practice on infrastructure and release strategies

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in defining business problems and translating them into applied AI solutions, with expertise in pre-sales and solution creation
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with foundational Data Science and knowledge of specialized domains such as Computer Vision, NLP, or Advanced Analytics
• Background in delivering AI projects from concept to production, with familiarity with MLOps, Data, Data Analytics platform design, and data engineering
• Proven leadership in executing complex AI-driven programs and scaling AI, Data Science, and ML teams
• Strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, creative thinking, and emotional intelligence

Nice to have

• Background in one or more business domains, such as CPG, Retail, Financial Services, Insurance, or Healthcare/Life Sciences

Technologies

• Python, Databricks, Azure ML, Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.), AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, DB (PL SQL, HQL, Mongo), Google (Vertex AI) or similar
