As a Product Designer II, you will define specific product needs based on user insights to ideate and define solutions that meet user needs. You will create and develop design concepts and specifications that optimize the emotional and functional experience of a product.  You will focus on end-to-end user experiences, empathizing and balancing experiences with business and technical tradeoffs. This opportunity will allow you accelerate your career growth, deepen your user-centered design, design leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. You will produce visual designs from concept through delivery and sustainment, support interaction designs for software-based experiences, and partner with internal development teams, marketing and design groups to research and analyze customer feedback for incorporation into product enhancements, new product designs and overall design language and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Design Excellence & Craft - Apply solid design fundamentals—layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and interaction design—to create intentional, high-quality experiences. Leverage design systems effectively while pushing for innovation within constraints.
  • Curiosity for Emerging Technologies - Stay ahead of trends in AI, machine learning, and frontier technologies. Explore new tools and paradigms, bringing a forward-thinking mindset to design challenges.
  • Original Thinking & Innovation - Contribute to ideation and early concepting, designing net-new experiences, systems, and frameworks—not just reusing existing patterns.
  • Multidisciplinary Perspective - Bring diverse influences—such as coding, game design, architecture, or fine art—that expand your approach to problem-solving and creativity.
  • Growth Mindset & Humility - Embrace feedback, ask questions, and prioritize learning over being right. Approach challenges with curiosity and low ego.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, content, and executive stakeholders to define, iterate, and deliver impactful features. Coordinate user research and integrate insights into design decisions.
  • Compelling Communication & Storytelling - Present design concepts and articulate rationale clearly to cross-functional partners and stakeholders, influencing decisions through solid storytelling.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design
    • OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).
  • Experience designing and prototyping in Figma.
Preffered Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service design
    • OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).
  • 2+ years experience shipping products, services, or games and/or delivering to customers as a result of an end-to-end design process.
  • Experience using one or more of the following: Sketch, Protopie, Principle, Premiere, Framer, Webflow or similar
  • Experience in AI Tools, such as Copilot, GitHub, ChatGPT, Claude, Lovable, Replit, V0, Notion, or similar.
