Role Overview:

As a Senior Front End Developer at BL3NDlabs, you will be a key contributor to the development and enhancement of a web application using Typescript, React.js, Node.js and Next.js (React Native is a plus). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, design, and implement robust and scalable front-end solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead the design and implementation of responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
• Develop and maintain server-side functionality with Node.js, including API endpoints, middleware, and integration with third-party services.
• Ensure seamless communication between the front end and back end, optimizing Node.js services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling practices within Node.js services.
• Develop new features and functionalities, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration with back-end systems.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to maintain high code quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer with a split focus on front-end and back-end development.
• Proficiency in Typescript, React.js, Next.js, and Node.js, with demonstrated experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, or server-side rendered applications.
• Strong understanding of Node.js runtime behavior, event loop, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience working with Express.js (or similar frameworks) and building scalable backend services.
• Familiarity with integrating databases (SQL or NoSQL) into Node.js applications.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS (Tailwind CSS is a plus), and responsive design principles.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with modern build tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
