In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying high-performance decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts on the Solana blockchain. As a Solana Developer at REALMS, you will be responsible for building robust, scalable, and secure on-chain programs, collaborating closely with our product, design, and frontend teams to turn complex decentralized finance (DeFi), gaming, or NFT challenges into innovative blockchain solutions.

• Design, develop, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts (Programs) on the Solana blockchain using Rust and the Sealevel runtime environment.
• Work with the Solana Program Library (SPL), including Token, Metaplex, and other relevant standards, to build protocol features.
• Integrate and interact with on-chain programs from client-side applications (dApps) using TypeScript/JavaScript and the Solana Web3.js library.
• Audit, test, and optimize smart contract code for security, low latency, and efficient compute usage.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define project scope, technical architecture, and deliver end-to-end decentralized solutions.
• Implement robust practices for program deployment, monitoring, and versioning.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in the Solana ecosystem, security standards, and protocol upgrades.

• Proven experience developing smart contracts on the Solana blockchain or in a similar high-throughput layer-1 protocol role.
• Strong proficiency in Rust is mandatory, with a focus on writing secure and optimized code for constrained environments.
• Solid understanding of the Solana architecture, including the Tower BFT consensus mechanism, Sealevel parallel runtime, accounts model, and transaction lifecycle.
• Experience with Web3 development and integrating with blockchain services using libraries like solana/web3.js or Anchor framework.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques relevant to Solana's compute unit limits.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for decentralized technology and Web3 innovation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
