Your Role as Investment Analyst

As an Investment Analyst at Sparring Capital Partners, you will work closely with our investment team and play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and supporting our portfolio companies. You will assist both in the analysis of potential investments and in the development of existing portfolio companies, gaining deep insight into all stages of the investment process.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Support the investment team in managing our portfolio companies — particularly in the areas of strategy, market development, financing, and reporting.
• Deal Sourcing & Execution: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with founders, owners, and key market participants. Support the analysis, structuring, and execution of investment transactions.
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct industry and trend analyses to identify attractive investment opportunities and market potential.
• Financial Analysis & Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models, evaluate business plans, and analyze company metrics to support well-informed investment decisions.
• Investor Relations: Contribute to the preparation of regular reports and presentations for investors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a comparable field.
• Initial practical experience in corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or consulting.
• Strong analytical skills, solid numerical understanding, and a structured working style.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-initiative, and a keen interest in innovation and technology.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
