About the Role:
Our client, an innovative eCommerce agency, is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex Magento/Adobe Commerce, mission-critical systems that support some of the biggest names in the eCommerce industry. They are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer with a passion for scalable, high-performance systems working AWS, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, and other cutting-edge technologies.
Skills:
- IaC & DevOps Tools Expertise - Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, and AWS SDK.
- System Scalability & Performance: Deep understanding of designing systems for scalability, high availability, and optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Ability to debug and resolve issues in cloud-based services, including full-stack troubleshooting (networking, Linux OS, DNS).
- AWS Mastery: Hands-on experience with core AWS services such as VPCs, EC2, ALB, CloudFront, Route53, and Cloudflare.
- Adobe Commerce Knowledge: Familiarity with Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) platform configuration.
- Monitoring & Analytics: Proficient with monitoring tools like New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana for system analysis.
- CI/CD Practices: Solid experience in CI/CD methodologies to streamline deployment processes.
- Security: In-depth understanding of infrastructure and data security best practices.
- Documentation & Collaboration: Strong documentation skills and experience using wikis and collaboration tools to share knowledge.
- Project Scoping: Ability to effectively scope, estimate, and break down project tasks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
