Data Scientist (AI & Cloud)

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Data Scientist (AI & Cloud) to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Advice and assistance, technology watch, evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in following areas of expertise: cloud systems, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence.
• Data analysis and data modelling.
• Development and refinement of machine learning models and AI algorithms.
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems.
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
• Technical interface between the project leaders and other developers.
• Production of software and architecture documents, including technical documentation.
• Review of the architecture of existing systems.
• Review of technical specifications and software deliverables.
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with users.
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
• Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis in the field of above-mentioned areas of expertise.
  
  

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Master's degree in IT and minimum 4 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree in IT and minimum 7 years of experience).
• At least 2 years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning and data analytics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in applying modern data/text analytics tools such as chatbots, data mining, predictive modelling, segmentation and clustering analysis, data visualisations.
• At least 2 years experience in Python for data analytics or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with cloud, e.g., Azure services or AWS services.
• Data Mining, data preparation for ML / Deep Learning algorithms.
• Experience with Python, R, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Jupyter Notebook, or similar.
• Previous experience in data visualization / BI tools and techniques (PowerBI etc.).
• Experience in Web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
• Prior exposure in Docker software virtualization and deployment is an asset.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) is an asset.
• Certificates are regarded as an asset: Certification in PM2, or other PM methodology frameworks, Data Analytics or cloud certifications.
• Excellent English language skills(C-level, written and spoken).
