At Zeltask, we are transforming how manufacturing companies manage their operations.

We are currently collaborating with the University of Leipzig to apply for the EXIST-Gründungsstipendium, a German government program that funds innovative technology startups. The program provides 12 months of support covering founders’ salaries, operational costs, and institutional support through the university.

We are looking for an AI/ML Lead to join our founding team and lead the design, development, and deployment of the intelligent systems that power Zeltask’s predictive maintenance and operations platform.

Based on performance and team alignment, this position can evolve into a Co-Founder role with equity participation.

As our AI/ML Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling the intelligent systems that drive real decisions in industrial contexts.

From anomaly detection to predictive maintenance and autonomous workflows, your work will be at the heart of everything we do.

You won’t just build models — you’ll help build the company.

AI Strategy and Architecture

Define and lead Zeltask’s artificial intelligence roadmap, spanning ML models, GenAI use cases, and decision-making systems.

Predictive Maintenance Models

Train models that detect equipment failures before they occur, using sensor data such as vibration and temperature.

Integration of Generative AI (GenAI)

Implement LLMs into real workflows — from intelligent copilots to dynamic report generation and checklist validation.

Deploying Models in Production

Manage the entire model lifecycle, from prototyping to production, using MLOps, Python, and cloud infrastructure.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with founders, engineers, and industry experts to build intelligent, user-centric, and high-impact solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Master’s degree is a strong plus
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML roles, ideally working with time-series data, maintenance, or industrial analytics
• Proficiency in Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and deployment on cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with LLMs, data pipelines, and predictive models
• Solid understanding of software development best practices — versioning, testing, scalability
• Fluent English (required); Spanish is a plus for collaboration with Latin American clients
• Entrepreneurial, resilient, and highly autonomous mindset — ready to build from scratch
