Your role
As Business Data Analyst/ Customer Insights Analyst, you’ll be the analytical backbone of this transformation. Your insights will power smarter decisions, stronger engagement, and scalable customer journeys. From funnel diagnostics to performance tracking, your work will drive transparency and measurable business impact:
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that cover the full customer funnel—from acquisition to retention and winback.
- Define and track KPIs for the self-service business, including product usage, conversion rates, user behavioral data, ARR, NRR, TTV, GRR, CSAT, and churn indicators.
- Collaborate with Engagement, Retention, and Automation teams to translate behavioral data into actionable lifecycle improvements.
- Analyze customer segments (e.g., Freemium vs. PLUS, active vs. passive users) and surface insights that guide personalized communication and product strategies.
- Set up data models and reporting pipelines in alignment with Marketing, Product, and BI stakeholders.
- Identify friction points, drop-offs, and opportunity areas within the self-service journey.
- Support experimentation and A/B testing with sound statistical design and post-test evaluations.
- Ensure data consistency across CRM, analytics, and automation tools—bridging business logic with technical implementation.

Job requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, product analytics, or business intelligence—preferably in SaaS, eCommerce, or B2B environments.
- Proficient with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and analytics platforms (e.g., Metabase, Amplitude).
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling principles.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Tech) to translate data into decisions.
- Comfortable with funnel and lifecycle metrics; understanding of key SaaS KPIs.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills; able to turn data into clear business stories.
- Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
