We are currently looking for Junior Support Engineer to join our Security Excellence Center Team. The team stands watch on security in all sites of IDEMIA all over the word. The Junior Support Engineer will join the efforts of making the one, united system - which is quite a challenge in so many places.

Your Mission

  • Interacts with end users and supports on simple issues and tasks and troubleshooting by following instructions
  • Escalates requests to the right technical team
  • Installs and monitors software and/or applications
  • Maintains IT Assets
  • Works within the supervision of an IT Lead or IT Manager

To Succeed On This Position You Should Have Following

  • English and Latvian - fluent, these are our communication languages;
  • Logical mindset - we would like to make sure you can connect the right dots together
  • Power and willignes for improvements - we believe there is always a space for improvement and we are looking for someone who feels the same
  • Communication skills - you do not need to be a ninja or other warrior, but you need to know how to maintain good relationships with external stakeholders
  • Experience on similar role (2 years)
  • Programming languages - know at least one (Python/Bash/Java/etc.), work with it and understand how the logic of programming language works in general would be an asset

The role is located in Riga, Latvia. We can propose the full office work.
