Quality Assurance Specialist

iToDEV – a super awesome mega cool IT company was established in 2006 (19 years and still counting. Which means, we know what we are doing). Our team with almost 40+ equally awesome people works on interesting, challenging and useful WEB systems and mobile apps for our Lithuanian and foreign clients.

What QA does @iToDEV?

• Making sure our mobile apps and web systems don’t just work – they feel right.
• Designing and running test plans that cover way more than just the happy path.
• Testing beyond the obvious: edge cases, performance, usability, cross-device quirks, and those „oh no, not again“ scenarios.
• Focusing mainly on mobile apps, but having a chance to play with web systems too.
• Using tools like Charles Proxy, Android Studio, Xcode, or DevTools to dig into the details.
• Collaborating closely with developers, PMs, and designers – because quality isn’t a one-person show.

From our QAs @iToDEV, we require:

• Have 3+ years of QA experience – you’ve seen enough bugs to know they never fully disappear.
• Feel confident with functional, regression, exploratory & usability testing – not just ticking boxes, but really trying to break stuff.
• Know your way around mobile apps: lifecycle, stability, interrupts (yep, those random calls and low battery pop-ups).
• Have played with tools like Charles Proxy, Android Studio, Xcode – and not just for fun.
• Can create and run test strategies that don’t miss the important parts (even the sneaky ones).
• Can explain bugs and testing results in a clear way so both techies and non-techies get it.

Extra karma points go for:

• Have tested some web systems and know your way around HTML, CSS, APIs and DevTools – basically, not scared of the code jungle.
• Tried performance tools like JMeter or Gatling – because apps don’t always behave nicely under pressure.
• Know a bit about security testing – maybe not a hacker, but you know what OWASP is about.
• Can spot bugs faster than your phone spots Wi-Fi at a coffee shop.
