Skilled in aligning technical changes with business requirements and Enterprise Architecture artefacts. Proficient in coding, unit testing, and maintaining J2EE applications and components, as well as developing and maintaining system design documentation and database design.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical design and development of system components.
• Ensuring application development aligns with standards and methodologies.
• Mentoring junior team members and troubleshooting production issues.
• Estimating development efforts for new and existing applications.
• Conducting code reviews and quality assurance tasks.
• Collaborating with business analysts, testers, and other stakeholders.
• Managing defects and analyzing root causes of incidents.

Deliverables include:

• Technical design and systems operation documentation.
• Deployment plans, workflows, events, and sequence diagrams.
• Records of troubleshooting, production issues, and incidents.

Technical Expertise:

• Minimum five years' experience with Java (J2EE, Servlet, EJB & EJB3, JPA (Hibernate), Spring, SOAP, Web services, Component, SQL, Oracle, DBE).
• Demonstrated experience with cloud and integration.
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining capabilities in large complex ICT environments.
• Expertise as a senior developer in production environments and projects using waterfall or agile methodologies.
• Exposure to technologies including WebSphere, WebSphere MQ, and IBM Datapower.
• Ability to quickly gain knowledge of other open source and/or COTS products/technologies.
