The CALAGUA Research Unit (UV-UPV) is offering an exciting Predoctoral Researcher (PhD) position to work on cutting-edge resource recovery from wastewater using microalgae-methanotrophs co-cultures!

Innovative Research: Be part of the BIOMATE project, transforming wastewater into biofertilizers and biostimulants through advanced bioprocesses.Hands-On Experience: Design, build, and operate lab-scale bioreactors, optimize processes, and contribute to high-impact publications.Collaborative Environment: Work alongside experts at the University of Valencia and Polytechnic University of Valencia in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team.What We're Looking For: Master's degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, or related fields.
Experience with microbial cultures, wastewater treatment, or bioprocess optimization.
