Are you a Network Engineer who thrives on complex challenges and wants to play a central role in a truly global IT infrastructure? We’re offering a contract role that blends technical depth, project leadership, and career stability, all while working mostly remote from Spain.
📍 Location: Spain (near Málaga or Barcelona preferred – hybrid, with only occasional office visits)
📅 Contract: 12 months (with strong extension potential through FY26)
💶 Rate: €32–34 p/h | 40 hrs/week
✈️ Travel: Potential for some travel in EMEA for projects
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Support and troubleshoot global networks (LAN, WAN, DNS, firewalls)
- Act as the regional escalation point for EMEA operations
- Lead projects: site buildouts, acquisitions, and technology refreshes
- Enhance network security and contribute to incident response efforts
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ hands-on network and security experience in enterprise/global environments
- Cisco CCNP (minimum) — advanced certifications (CCIE, security) are a strong plus
- Experience with: Cisco Routing & Switching (Catalyst, Nexus), SD-WAN, Wireless, DNA Center, ISE, ACI
- Firewalls: Palo Alto and/or Fortinet
- Tools: SolarWinds, Riverbed WAN optimization, Infoblox DDI, A10 load balancers, Juniper switches
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to take ownership of escalations
