Our team, located in Amsterdam, is looking for self-driven, talented people who can help make digital assets available for everyone.
About The Opportunity
We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Data Analyst. As a Data Analyst at Bitvavo, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting large datasets to make business decisions with significant impact. This role contributes to Bitvavo’s analytics culture through data products and services and is specifically focussed on helping the Exchange domain and Business Development teams build a better exchange proposition.

- Model Development: Develop and refine quantitative models to evaluate market trends and optimize our liquidity.
- Research and Development: Stay on top of industry trends, market developments, and emerging crypto assets to continuously improve the overall business performance. How a matching engine works, the layout of the order book looks and what the concept of latency is comes naturally to you.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports, own and set KPIs, communicate findings to internal stakeholders, provide insights and recommendations
- An academic degree in a STEM related area: e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Business Analytics or similar
- 2-5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, preferably within the financial or cryptocurrency sector.

- Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex quantitative concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
