Cyber Security Specialist

Role : Cybersecurity Strategy and Technical Governance Lead

Job Type: Contract

Technical Control Implementation

Leadership of technical control implementation & uplift across mission critical services and systems.

Management of key supplier implementation of delegated information security controls.

Providing guidance and building awareness of Cybersecurity with Customer stakeholders throughout their assets lifecycle.

Governance and Assurance

Development and implementation of the Customer Cybersecurity Technical Assurance framework, including standards, supporting guidelines, processes, registers, reporting and dashboards.

Identifying areas for improvement in internal technical controls and leading activities to enhance these.

Continuous improvement of technical processes and procedures.

Compliance

Coordinate and inform the technical control response to compliance activities, including but not limited to:

PCI – DSS,

Critical Infrastructure Legislation,

ASD Essential 8 accreditation and improvements; and

Internal and external audits focussed on technology.

Contribute to customer response to new legislation and compliance activities.

General

Produce reporting against agreed metrics and measurements.

Effective collaboration with internal teams, including project/delivery, legal, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, operations and privacy throughout the third-party assurance lifecycle.

Contribute to Customer’s Cyber training and awareness program
